England fired their coach Steve McLaren

Share |

The England National Team has been showing a poor performance for a while, but yesterday's 2-3 defeat against Croatia was the top of it. With this result, England lost their Euro2008 qualification, and the English team sacked coach Steve McLaren after 15 months.

In fact, it is the first time since 1984 that England does not make it through to the European finals. Fabio Capello has been named as one of the possible replacements for McLaren.

It's important to mention that the English team has really big names like David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, and many more. That makes this result even more devastating for the British nation.
